The hotel features a unique Burns Night Supper menu that adds a charming touch to the dining experience, along with live entertainment that enhances the atmosphere. The room cleanliness is commendable, providing a comfortable environment to unwind after a long day.
The Executive Double Room lacked air conditioning, only providing a fan that did little to combat the summer heat, leading to an uncomfortable night’s sleep. The breakfast options seemed limited. while the cooked items were of decent quality, the presentation fell short with unexpected variations like mashed potato hash browns. There were also minor maintenance issues like a dripping tap which detracted from the overall experience. the service during dinner was noticeably delayed, with some guests experiencing frustrating wait times, which disrupted the intended celebratory mood of our group event.

Cute spot with great food!
I stayed here for a night and was pleasantly surprised! My room was super clean and bright with a comfy bed. The mini bar had cool stuff, and breakfast was top-notch. The staff were really friendly, but the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times. Loved the cozy bar area for drinks too.

Amazing breakfast and helpful staff
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially the breakfast that featured freshly baked croissants and locally sourced ingredients. I loved how cozy and stylish this place felt. The Executive Double Room had a welcoming vibe, with fresh milk in the fridge, which was a nice touch. I also appreciated the quality of the bed—so comfortable! Breakfast was a highlight. Perfectly cooked with generous portions. The staff were friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. the bar service closed too early, at 9:30 PM, during our stay. It was disappointing as we arrived late and missed dinner. The noise from an extractor fan near the room made it difficult to settle down at first, but it didn't ruin my stay. I'd definitely return but hope they address the service hours and noise.

Perfect for solo travelers looking for something unique
I stayed one night and was really pleased with the charming old building, it had character that's hard to find these days. The room was really clean and had this nice mini bar. Some good quality teas ready to go, like they actually thought about comfort.
Not exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's still alright.

Had an amazing time with friends! We loved exploring the local attractions and enjoyed two fantastic tours that offered unique insights into the history here. The room was cozy, and the dining options catered to everyone. Don’t miss the breakfast menu. it’s got great variety. The staff was friendly.
The only downside was a constant noise from an extractor fan near our room, which made it tricky to fall asleep at first. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind.
